Between Picardy and Normandy...
Trie-Château is ideally situated between Picardy and Normandy, at the midway point between Paris and Dieppe, at the edge of the Vexin National Park, offering easy access to the capital and the coast, on the Green Way cycle route.
The location is also ideal for visits in the Oise (Impressionism country) and around the Seine Valley - Giverny, Les Andelys, Roche-Guyon and various other castles, stately homes and places of interest.
In the Middle Ages, the village was on the border between France and the English-occupied region. The fortifications are still visible in the medieval arch next to the house and in the castle, the church and the other village buildings.
Trie-Château benefits from a covered swimming pool, bakery, pizzeria, bar / tobacco shop and hypermarket. Gisors, 3km away, offers a selection of restaurants, cafés, shops and supermarkets, everything needed for your stay.
